Employing over 1200 staff in 11 locations across New Zealand, C3 Limited is a market leader in New Zealands port related product and cargo handling, adding value to our clients businesses by providing solutions to their transport and logistics needs. Based at Port Marsden we require skilled Ship's Crane Operators, who have the flexibility to work out of port on occasion when required. The role involves operating cranes located on board logging vessels to assist with the loading of logs from the wharves into the ships hold.

We are looking for crane operators, preferably with previous log handling experience to join our close knit and high performing team. On offer are full time contracts with competitive remuneration. As part of this opportunity, you may be able to work out of port, at other ports were C3 operate.

You must be flexible and prepared to work a range of 12-hour shifts as this is a 24/7 environment and subject to shipping schedules. Essential requirements for these positions are: Experience operating ships cranes A minimum full Class 1 licence Experience using a log grapple Good attention to detail A strong focus on Health and Safety A dedicated team player If you are a skilled Crane Operator who enjoys responsibility and is keen to progress your career, then we would like to hear from you. You may be required to demonstrate your abilities in the form of a practical pre-employment assessment as part of the selection process.
